Kang Tae Pung is a good-looking, capable, and charming guy who falls for an unattractive woman Wang So Jung while experiencing a visual impairment that makes him see unattractive people as attractive. So Jung is unperceptive, immature and bizarre. Her one unique skill is the ability to mimic animal expressions; she is friendlier with animals than with people. (Source: Dramabeans)
"The Relation of Face, Mind, and Love" is part of the Telecinema series, and a collaborative project between Japanese screenwriter Oishi Shizuka (First Love) and Korean director Lee Jang Soo (Stairway to Heaven). In this transnational feature film, the love-at-first-sight premise is given a comedic twist. Renowned architect Kang Tae Pung (Kang Ji Hwan of kdrama "Coffee House") suffers an unusual visual impairment after an unexpected accident: unattractive people appear to be attractive, and conversely, good-looking people seem repulsive. During this spell, Kang falls madly in love with Wang So Jung (Lee Ji Ah of kdrama "Athena"). When Kang's vision returns to normal, he must come to terms with his affections for So Jung and his superficial perceptions on what it is to be beautiful.
